Our children have had unconventional childhoods. They weren’t born into families where education was of highest priority. Most of them don’t have the foundation of a good primary education. What they have is, the experience of watching and helping their parents at work. Most of them already know the basics of construction, farming, selling goods etc. They learn better by doing than just reading books. Our goal is to play to their strengths and interest. Give them vocational training in engineering, arts, sciences, farming, handicraft, sports, performing arts along with their studies so that they are ready to have a successful career in whichever path they choose. This also includes teaching them life skills so that they have respect for all work and are independent in every way.
