Udyam: Jewellery making training session
Udyam is our Vocational Training program for Class 8 and above students of Pathshala and Pathbhavan. These are some glimpses from the jewellery making session on September 4, 2023 at our Pathbhavan location. The following vocational training courses are being started in our first phase –
Project Monsoon Culmination at Pathshala
Last week (end of August) Pathshala children completed Project ‘Monsoon’. They have learnt various topics related to rain. Rain water harvesting system, cloud burst, formation of rainbow, floods, responsibilities of disaster management group and a few more other aspects. They even wrote poems on rain. The approach is Project Based Learning ( PBL).

Pathshala stresses on Reading in new session
Pathshala’s new 2023-2024 academic has started. Among other things, there is a special focus on Reading this year. The children get 25 minutes post morning assembly different kinds of books. The senior children have also presented what they are reading in a book review discussion.
Pathbhavan’s 11th Birthday Celebrations
Pathbhavan celebrated her 11th Birthday by hosting an event called the Journey Continues. The children staged an English play, The Selfish Giant. They also had report reading, prize distribution and a dance performance.
Pathbhavan celebrates World Water Day
World Water Day was celebrated in Pathbhavan on March 22, 2024. The Pathshala & Pathbhavan children performed dances and a street play by MSU students. Children also made presentations to spread awareness. Pathshala students (Unnati Initiative) made papdi no lot and potato chips for snacks. Altogether it was a wholesome experience.

Udukku, a Performing Arts Troupe
Srotoshwini Trust, Vadodara has been working with underprivileged children and women since 2013. Srotoshwini is fundamentally a cultural group, with an experience of 16 years of stage shows, has diversified its activities towards social field since last ten years. Sports Day with a difference!
Pathshala, Pathbhavan and Churni, initiatives of Srotoshwini Trust, celebrated ‘togetherness’ at the Annual Sports Meet on 24th December at Pathshala Campus, Lasundra. It was a day to feel happy together. Races were all collaborative and there was no competition. Everyone received prizes.
