Pathshala’s new 2023-2024 academic has started. Among other things, there is a special focus on Reading this year. The children get 25 minutes post morning assembly different kinds of books. The senior children have also presented what they are reading in a book review discussion.
Pathbhavan celebrated her 11th Birthday by hosting an event called the Journey Continues. The children staged an English play, The Selfish Giant. They also had report reading, prize distribution and a dance performance.
World Water Day was celebrated in Pathbhavan on March 22, 2024. The Pathshala & Pathbhavan children performed dances and a street play by MSU students. Children also made presentations to spread awareness. Pathshala students (Unnati Initiative) made papdi no lot and potato chips for snacks. Altogether it was a wholesome experience.
Unnati, a new initiative encouraging entrepreneurship in children! The initiative launched on March 20 and our children had already decided on their products and were selling it to the villagers of Lasundra as an experiment and also preparing for a pitch for their businesses. UDUKKU’s 2nd show of ‘Goopi Gawayia Bagha Bajayia’ received excellent reviews. Thank you so much audience and RCBC ( Rotary club of Baroda Cosmopolitan), Ms Neha Patel, Mr Arjun Singh Mehta, Ms Shubhra Singh Mehta and all other office bearers of RCBC for giving us the opportunity. Pathshala’s performing arts group, Udukku performed at a fundraising event hosted by RCBC.
The biggest event of Srotoshwini Trust UDHAM 24: CHAKRA-view, the tribal way to celebrate life, was on 21st Jan at Pathshala Campus Lasundra. All the children of Pathshala and Pathbhavan and women of Churni were there to celebrate.
Pathshala, Pathbhavan and Churni, initiatives of Srotoshwini Trust, celebrated ‘togetherness’ at the Annual Sports Meet on 24th December at Pathshala Campus, Lasundra. It was a day to feel happy together. Races were all collaborative and there was no competition. Everyone received prizes.

After a lot of hard work & unparalleled teamwork, we presented ‘Goopi Gawayia Bagha Bajaiya’ on Sunday, 5th November at Pt Deendayal Upadhaya Auditorium, Ajwa Road. We received raving reviews from the people present there. This performance was part of our new performing arts initiative Udukku. This initiative will use Theater as a means of education for our children.
